Ladurée

We knew we were gonna love Ladurée ever since we saw Blair Waldorf strolling Paris eating amazing Ladruée´s macarrons.
So last year, when visiting Paris for the first time, we couldn´t wait to visit the famous place.  For those who don´t know Ladurée it was one of the very first parisian tea salons: a combination of the parisian cafe and patisserie.

Everything looked so fancy and beautiful, very Marie Antoinette.  It was really crowded, we had to wait in line for 20 minutes to order.  It was so worth it!
Most tourists left the shop with tiny macaroon boxes, but we couldn´t leave without the recipe book too.

"From biscuits to cakes, and from tarts to pastries, the classics of Ladurée are unveiled in this beautifully photographed collection of recipes..."

If you are looking for a book to store in your kitchen drawers this is definitely not of one of them. This book is designed to be a coffee book. It features a lovely gift box, padded velvet cover and golden edges.

"Ladurée is a celebration of all things sweet and femenine.  It´s ultimate objective its to create beautiful things. Far from culinary trends, Ladurée is where quality and beauty have always gone hand in hand."

There are a lot of recipes which we find very clear to follow. Every time we try a new recipe, we feel inmediately  transported back to Champs Elysées.

These are some of our favourite recipes...

Bon appétit!
